In August 2007 we installed a Davis Vantage Pro 2 automatic weather station at the bottom of our garden at Brent Knoll in Somerset.
The station is situated at
N51°14.722', W2°56.982', about
8m above sea level.
The anemometer is about 4m above ground level, and the site is open to
the south and west. To the north and east there are buildings and trees, and
wind measurements are probably affected.
