In August 2007 we installed a Davis Vantage Pro 2 automatic weather station in our garden at Brent Knoll in Somerset.
The station is about 8m above sea level. The anemometer is about 5m above ground level, and the site is open to the south and west. To the north and east there are buildings and trees, and wind measurements are probably affected.
